"It was a really good session on mindfulness and communication. I liked that he was very down to earth and made things easy to understand. I felt he and his content was relatable. He used humor which was nice. I liked that he did mindfulness and breathing exercises as well. It was good that it was broken down into mini sessions so that it was a continuous learning and kept you thinking and not just a one day thing and then kind of out of sight out of mind. This way you got to practice and then come back the following session and he asked how we did or what we practiced."
"[I was able to learn] that my goal is not to clear or quiet our minds, rather notice our thoughts and come back to our breath."
"Everything very well explained is simple words for me to understand being that English is a second language to me."
What do you want to remember two months from now from todays session and from the past 3 sessions?
Oscar presented a series of mindfulness and positive communications trainings for our team. Oscar is personable, approachable and easy to work with. He immediately developed a rapport with me and my team. The training concepts were clear and built on one another in a way that reinforced the learning. Oscar had a well-developed format, but there was also room for exploration and creativity. Oscar engaged the learners and provided safety to delve into difficulty concepts. My team raved about Oscar, his style and approach, his humor, and the benefits they received from working with him. We look forward to working with him again. His teachings and lessons are relevant to us all.
